  • The main objective the proposal is to advance research beyond the state-of-the-art in the field of
    crowd dynamics with a focus but not limited to shared spaces by integrating theoretical advances
    ranging from agent-based modelling, numerical analysis of large-scale systems and control to
    statistical mechanics and machine and manifold learning methodologies. The proposed approach
    seeks to systematically bridge the gap between detailed microscopic simulations and the emergent
    behavior, identify ODEs and PDEs and their closures and design control strategies to achieve some
    desired behaviour.

    L’obiettivo principale della proposta รจ far progredire la ricerca oltre lo stato dell’arte nel campo della
    dinamiche di folla con un focus ma non limitato agli spazi condivisi integrando i progressi teorici
    che vanno dalla modellazione ad agenti, all’analisi numerica di sistemi su larga scala e al controllo
    meccanica statistica e metodologie di machine learning e multiple learning. L’approccio proposto
    cerca di colmare sistematicamente il divario tra simulazioni microscopiche dettagliate e l’emergente
    comportamento, identificare ODE e PDE e le loro chiusure e progettare strategie di controllo per raggiungerne alcune
    comportamento desiderato.
